| Middle Forest
Middle Forest is the largest forest out of five forests that there are. This forest is in the middle of the four other forests, hints the name. In between each forest is desert land, but it only takes one days journey to get to one of the other forests. In the middle of the forest there is a very large lake. All around the lake is think forest land. There is one stream that runs out of the middle of the forest and into the ocean, so very far away. The leader of all of the forests lives here.

| Western Forest
Western Forest is located to the west of the Middle Forest. This is laid out like the rest. The middle sized lake is in the middle of the forest and the trees shield it from harm. This forest is thin and has open spaces for the horses to run wild. The forest is a circle shape and will stay that way for a long time. There is the thin forest, then open plains until the lake comes up, then there is more plain area on the other side and then the forest once more. And that’s how it is all the way around.

| Northern Forest
Northern Forest is to the north of the Middle Forest, and its name comes from that. This forest has a heart shaped lake and it is a medium sized lake. The forest around the lake is lush, but there is an open field near the lake. This is where the best grazing is. This forest gets a lot of rain, keeping the lake full. This forest is odd shaped. It goes around the lake, and then down, almost like a lollypop on a stick, if you put it in human form.

| Southern Forest
Southern Forest is south of the Middle forest and it is the smallest out of the five. Here the land is set up different from the other forests. The lake is not in the middle of the land, but outside of the forest. One side of it is not protected by trees, but it is just open, to the desert that they beyond. The lake is shaped like a small snake. The forest protects the one side of it and then leaves the other side. This forest is thinner and it is a little dry here, it rains once ever two weeks, and they can keep track of that.

| Eastern Forest
Eastern Forest is to the east of the Middle Forest. This is laid out like the rest of the forests. The lake is in the middle and this lake is the smallest. The forest though is huge and very thick. It is almost like the rain forest. The floor of the forest doesn’t get much sunlight. The forest is shaped roundly and then has a small band of trees that stick out one side of it, here there is a cave.

| Black Forest
Black Forest is a forgotten forest that holds many secrets. The horses of this time have long forgotten of the forest, but some tell stories to the foals, getting their hopes up on finding this place. Some of the elders say that is place is a place for death, only evil lives there, and they are right. The darkest of all live here and have been kept away from other life for thousands of years now. The Black Forest is huge. All of the trees look dead, but they still have leaves. The leaves look dried up and ready to fall off, but the ground is bare. There is an open place in the middle of the forest where a lake should be, but now it is just a dry bed. Now there is……Nothing…..

| Desert
The Desert is the place that every horse fears. There is no water for the horses to come upon, so many fear the desert, but they are so used to it. Between each forest there is desert, each one is surrounded by desert, and endless sand. Most horses can survive to travel to the other forests, because it is only one days walk to each forest from the Middle Forest. The Desert holds a great secret, the Black Forest. It is very far away from the main forests though, and everyone has forgotten about it.
