The liver chestnut felt that wonderful shiver rush through her body once again and she locked her gaze with his. She dropped it when he spoke to her and she smirked. She flipped her head so that her forelock rested over her left eye, making her look dangerous. " Are you sure you want to go onto a less-unknown cave, with me?" Her grin was beautfil and softened the dangerous look she had. She pushed his shoulder with her muzzle playfully and waited for his answer.[/blockquote]

Flicker pushed playfully back, and answered, "Dear Vicodin, I know this forest quite well, and much better then the Stiffs. It's you who must rely on me in this way."
With a soft toss of his head, he trotted in front of her, and began to lead the way, grinning back. "Besides, what makes you think I'm not dangerous?"
'After all, I'm flirting with you,' he thought, grinning a little, before continuing on his way.

" I like dangerous boys." She thought to herself as she pushed into a trot and followed him. For a moment she stayed behind and looked at his form and how he moved. It was clear that he went on daily runs and he didn't eat too much, or to her eyes it seemed that way. She trotted after him until they came to the cave and she slowed down and stood before it, near a tree. " So, what do equines do in this cave?" She asked him, her voice husky for some reason.[/blockquote]

Flicker shook his head a little, and responded, "I am the only one who really knows the way perfectly. I'm very adventerous, and obvously dangerous. Besides, I just run around in that area, and it will be fun to see if you can find your way back to the main paths."
At that comment, he grinned at her, and added, "Though, you will be fine. I also spend a lot of time...thinking. I try to figure out how to live in different places."

She looked into the cave as he spoke to her. She grinned at the comment he made about her, but didn't look at him when she did. She swished her tail around her, letting it swish the flies off her back. She tossed her mane and said, " Well, I'm going in." She didn't let him say anything before she walked into the cave. As soon as she stepped hoof into the cave she knew it was damp. It was cool, but that was fine with her. The air outside was very warm. She tossed her mane and looked back to see if he was following her.[/blockquote]

Flicker followed her in, letting the coolness seep in, though he was trying to avoid getting used to that. After all, he wanted to be able to live in the desert for days, and to find the Black Forest.
With a soft snort, he followed looked around and commented, "You know, this cave isn't very well known, and this is going to cause people to wonder where you went to. After all, you disappeared."

The liver chestnut heard the stallion's words as the echoed through the cave. She turned and looked at him, her forelock still covering her left eye. She tossed her head and it fell away, making her look beautiful instead of dangerous, even though she was both. She walked over to him and touched her muzzle to his neck and spoke. " You're right. Maybe I should be getting back. How about you met me at the lake side tomorrow morning?" She pulled her muzzle away from his neck and looked into his eyes, her own shinning with excitment and pleasure of disobeying her mother.[/blockquote]

Flicker nearly tripped over his hooves at her question, before answering, "I would be glad to Vicodin."
He really would. She was pretty, and she seemed to be doing it for alternate motives other then just wanting to hang out with him, something he really didn't mind. After all, how often did you meet with someone who was willing to run around with you, who was pretty and of the oppisite gender?
'Not many,' he thought, grinning a little at her.

She smiled as she walked out of the cave. When the warm sun touched her pelt she looked back and said, " Good, so I'll see you in the morning." She winked before she trotted off and left his sight. The next morning the liver chestnut stood beside the lake. The stars were still out as the sun made the sky turn pink. She smiled to herself and watched how the sun's light made the star disappear from the sky, and it amazed her. She swished her tail and looked around the lake, it was only her and the trees.[/blockquote]

Flicker had spent the night in the cave. Why? Mainly because it was a good place to sleep undisturbed, though now he made his way to the lake, flickering through the trees, and he trotted out to the lake, over to Vicodin.
The sunrise accented her beauty, and he stood next to her, looking at the sky, trying to still look...well, lower then her. It was hard, since he wanted to go for a run, but he waited. "Hi," he greeted softly.

Vicodin turned and saw her stallion walking toward her and a smiled showed on her face. She swished her tail as he came near and she pushed into him as he stood next to her. She heard his single word and a grin appeared, his voice even made her melt. " Hello." She said and nuzzled his neck. She could tell he was ready to run, but she didn't want to wake her mother and the mares her mother hung-out with before the sun was up. They would have to wait an hour or more before they could go off together, with-out anyone caring.[/blockquote]

Flicker didn't really say anything, but gently nuzzled her withers, something that he liked to do. The neck always too common for him, and he went back to looking at the sunrise, one ear turned toward Vicodin.
His body trembled slightly, and he tossed his head lightly, trying to burn some energy he would normally burn just running. Galloping over the roots, jumping, leaping, and learning how to survive in the desert somehow.

The liver-chestnut stood beside the stallion and watched the sun rise. She could feel the engery coming off of him like the heat coming off the sun on a summer day, it was intence for her. She swished her weight to three hooves and rested her back right hoof on the tip.
"What is your dream?" She asked him, but didn't look at him as she did. She swished her dark colored tail around her backside and let is graze against his flesh before she let it fall down again.

"My dream? My dream is to find the Black Forest," Flicker answered, not bothering to hide it, nor bothering to lie.
If he did either, he would get in big trouble, and he shook his head a little. He still had some trouble with the 'surving in the desert' part, and he was wondering if she would report him or something.

Vicodin blinked when she heard his answer, and how he said it. She shifted all of her weight back onto all of her legs once more and turned her head to face him. Her eyes were wide, but not with fear, but with amazment.
"Follow me." She told him before she turned quickly and began to make her way into the forest, toward the cave they had been at the day before. She wanted to talk alone, where no one would hear them.
