Flicker followed her happily, just glad to finally being able to burn energy off. He wanted to be able to talk it over, maybe, or spend his days in the desert, going in and out of forests to gain what he needed.
Really, he loved his plan, and he began to trot, trying to burn some energy.

When the pair came to the cave, the liver-chestnut stopped and swished her tail around her. A thin layer of sweat covered her pelt, for some unknown reason. She tossed her mane about her neck and looked at him.
"You want to go to the Black Forest?" She asked him, her voice quite so no one would over-hear. "I have heard rumors and things about the Forest, but you want to find it? Maybe some gods created you for me." She told him in a playful voice, but then her face became serious, hoping he would too.

Flicker heard her words, and looked excited, prancing a little in place, though looked serious. He still had energy to burn off before he became more...relaxed.
Really, he couldn't help himself and he looked at her. "Why, Vicodin, I don't know if any gods did or not, but if you have an idea on how to survive the desert, you are one step ahead of me," he stated.

The liver-chestnut grinned at him and said, "Then I am one step ahead of you. My blood, my Arabian blood, as taught me how to survie in the desert. But you, I don't know if you can. We'll have to train before we head off." She told him.
She walked over to him and touched his neck with her muzzle. She knew someone had brought her this fine stallion because she wasn't going to make it in the forest if someone hadn't brought him to her. Either her mother would have killed her, or she would have done it herself.

Flicker's eyes light up slightly, hearing this. As a Morgan, he was very good at the training part, and he looked at her, before pressing his head gently against her neck. "When woudl the training start Vicodin?" he asked softly.
In fact, his voice was almost curious, yet not in a bad way. He really was an odd one.

When she felt his touch she smiled and then listened to his words. She thought about it for a moment and then she said, "We can start today, but we have to go back to the lake and bathe first."
She knew they had to bathe because then their pelts wouldn't get too much sand in them, if they were clean and weren't muddy. She tossed her mane around his face playfully and then turned and trotted back the way they had come.

Flicker let out a soft snort as her mane went over his face, but followed her. He soon gave it up, and took off in an explosive canter for about half a minute before slowing down to a bouncy trot, happy to rid his body of that urge to release energy.
He really needed to remember to run around more.

When the liver-chestnut spotted the lake she saw a small group of females, and that group was her mother's. She groaned before she trotted out of the forest and into plain sight. She tossed her mane about her neck and went into the lake.
"Ah, child!" Vicodin's mother's voice came to her ears and she winced. She turned in the lake and looked at her mother. "Yes, mother?" She asked, trying not to sound like she was going to explode with annoince. "My group would like you to come with us this after-noon for another walk." The liver-chestnut nodded and said, "Sure, but I have some things to do today, but if I can't make it then I can do it another time." She told her mother and then turned her back on her.

Flicker, luckily, managed to stay hidden from the Stiffs, and began to walk, hiddin, through the trees. He walked slowly, letting his hooves search out the ground he needed, but he wondered if Vicodin would call him out, order him out.
He really hoped not, since the Stiffs didn't like him.

When Vicodin knew her mother had gone and walked back over to her small group, she looked around for Flicker, hoping he was somewhere near. She snorted when she didn't see him and walked further into the lake, getting her back and up to her face wet.
When she was done she walked out of the lake and shook hard, getting most of the water off her pelt. She hoped that Flicker that given himself a bath, because he would need it if he was going out into the desert with her.

Flicker followed her into the lake, but was out quicker then she was, not giving himself a complete bath. He didn't want to be in sight of the Stiffs any longer then he had to.
Cantering to the tree line, he waited for Vicodin, and nickered softly, seeing her come near. He loved the way she looked, and the way she was.
